Road and Highway Builders, llc (RHB) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers, including certified DVBE firms for the following items of work, but quotes will be accepted for all work items: LEAD COMPLIANCE PLAN; TIME-RELATED OVERHEAD (WDAY); CONSTRUCTION AREA SIGNS; TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM; PORTABLE RADAR SPEED FEEDBACK SIGN SYSTEM DAY; PORTABLE CHANGEABLE MESSAGE SIGN (LS); TEMPORARY RADAR SPEED FEEDBACK SIGN SYSTEM; JOB SITE MANAGEMENT; PREPARE WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PROGRAM; REMOVE YELLOW THERMOPLASTIC TRAFFIC STRIPE (HAZARDOUS WASTE); SHOULDER BACKING; FULL WIDTH SEGMENT CORRECTION; PARTIAL WIDTH SEGMENT CORRECTION; HOT MIX ASPHALT (TYPE A); DATA CORE; TACK COAT; REMOVE ASPHALT CONCRETE DIKE; COLD PLANE ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT; ADJUST FRAME AND GRATE TO GRADE; PAINT TRAFFIC STRIPE (2-COAT); REMOVE PAINTED TRAFFIC STRIPE; REMOVE PAINTED PAVEMENT MARKING; 12\" RUMBLE STRIP (ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT); MAINTAINING EXISTING TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ELEMENTS DURING CONSTRUCTION and MODIFYING TRAFFIC MONITORING STATIONS. Items of work may be broken down into economically feasible packages to encourage participation. RHB intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms interested in working on this project.

A 100% Payment and Performance Bond may be required, as well as insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting Caltrans requirements. A current, valid California contractors license and a DIR # are necessary. Assistance with bonding, insurance, lines of credit, materials, equipment and supplies is available. Also, the project plans and specifications are available to be viewed at our office or by contacting the Project Manager with questions or to receive copies of the Plans and Specifications. All subcontractors will be required to sign the standard RHB subcontract Agreement.
