Scope / Description
We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:
Seeking All DBE Subcontractors/Suppliers needed for, including but not limited to: CONSTRUCTION AREA SIGNS; TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM; PLANE ASPHALT CONCRETE; CLEARING & GRUBBING; HIGHWAY PLANTING; IRRIGATION SYSTEM; ROADSIDE SIGN; REINFORCED CONCRETE PIPE; CORRUGATED METAL PIPE (CSP); WELDED STEEL PIPE; CLAY SEWER PIPE; CONCRETE CURB & SIDEWALK – MISC.; DIRECTIONAL BORING/DRILLING; SAWCUTTING; THERMOPLASTIC TRAFFIC STRIPING & MARKING; SIGNAL & LIGHTING; LIGHTING; SURVEYOR; SWPPP; WATER TRUCK; STREET SWEEPING TRUCK; AND LANDSCAPING CONTRACTOR; or any item of work or material you are qualified to perform or furnish.
GEORGE REED, INC. is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, and Cement Masons Unions. 100% Performance and Payment Bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. GEORGE REED, INC. will pay bond premium up to 2%. Subcontractor must possess current insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting Owner’s and GRI’s insurance requirements. Insurance waiver of subrogation is also required. Please call if you need assistance with: bonding, lines of credit, insurance, obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, materials, or any related services; or assistance with breaking down items into economically feasible units or establishing flexible time frames for performance and delivery schedules to encourage or facilitate participation.
