We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:
Road and Highway Builders, LLC (RHB) is looking for quotes from DBE Certified firms All items including, but not limited to: LEAD COMPLIANCE PLAN; LUMP SUM; TIME-RELATED OVERHEAD (WDAY); CONSTRUCTION AREA SIGNS; TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM; PORTABLE RADAR SPEED FEEDBACK SIGN SYSTEM DAY; PORTABLE FLASHING BEACONS (EA); PORTABLE CHANGEABLE MESSAGE SIGN (LS); JOB SITE MANAGEMENT; PREPARE WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PROGRAM; TEMPORARY DRAINAGE INLET PROTECTION; TEMPORARY GRAVEL BAG BERM; HOT MIX ASPHALT (TYPE A); TACK COAT; COLD PLANE ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT; REMOVE BASE AND SURFACING; ADJUST FRAME AND COVER TO GRADE; THERMOPLASTIC PAVEMENT MARKING; PAINT TRAFFIC STRIPE (2-COAT); and MAINTAINING EXISTING TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ELEMENTS DURING CONSTRUCTION. Items of work may be broken down into economically feasible packages to encourage participation. RHB intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms interested in working on this project.
Road and Highway Builders, LLC (RHB) is signatory to the Laborers, Carpenters, Cement Masons and Operating Engineers. RHB intends to negotiate in Good Faith with all qualified DVBE subcontractors and suppliers for project participation. Any item of work, portion of an item or combination thereof will be considered. A 100% Payment and Performance bond may be required, as well as insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting Caltrans requirements. A current, valid California Contractors license and a DIR# are necessary. Assistance with Bonding, Insurance, Lines of Credit, Materials, Equipment and Supplies is available. All subcontractors will be required to sign the standard RHB subcontract Agreement.
