Scope / Description
We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:
Seeking All LBE Subcontractors/Suppliers for, including but not limited to: BUILDING/MOVING/WRECKING; CONCRETE; EARTHWORK & PAVING; ELECTRICAL; GENERAL ENGINEERING; PIPELINE; REINFORCING STEEL; TRUCKING & HAULING; CORROSION ENGINEERING; AND CATHODIC PROTECTION; or any item of work or material you are qualified to perform or furnish.
In addition, subcontractors are pointed to the City’s Surety Bond Program, which assists LBE contractors in obtaining bonding and financing for contracts awarded by the SFPUC. For further information regarding enrollment eligibility and program services contact Jennifer Elmore at (415) 217-6578. Subcontractors may be required to obtain and maintain a City and County of San Francisco Business Tax Registration Number. GEORGE REED, INC. is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, and Cement Masons Unions. 100% Performance and Payment Bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. GEORGE REED, INC. will pay bond premium up to 2%. Subcontractor must possess current insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting Owner’s and GRI’s insurance requirements. Insurance waiver of subrogation is also required. Please call if you need assistance with: bonding, lines of credit, insurance, obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, materials, or any related services; or assistance with breaking down items into economically feasible units or establishing flexible time frames for performance and delivery schedules to encourage or facilitate your participation.
