Scope / Description

We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:

Scopes needed: Earthwork, Paving, Sheet Pile, Earth Shoring, Demo, Concrete Supply, Rebar Subcontractor, Painting, HVAC, Pre-Engineered Metal Bldg, Pipe & Valve Supply. NAICS: 237110, 238120, 238220, 238320, 238910, 238990, 327320, 332311, 332911, 332996. Project Description: The project will expand the water filtration facility capacity from 14.4 million gallons per day (MGD) to 21.6 MGD. The purpose of the project is to enable WVWD to expand the water filtration facility by 7.2 MGD to meet regional water demands, address water supply reliability, and support regional groundwater sustainability management efforts & consists of the following major elements: • New Influent Pump Station • New Filter Building with Laboratory, Offices, & Control Room • New Contact Adsorption Clarifier & Filtration Units by Trident • Replacement and capacity increase of the UV Disinfection Reactors by Trojan Swift, UV Recovery Pumps and Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) Influent Pumps • New Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) systems to enhance solids thickening capacity • New Effluent Pump Station • New 30” Treated Water Pipeline to Zone 5 Reservoir • Retaining Wall & Site Civil Improvements • Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition System (SCADA) Upgrades • Landscape & Roadway Frontage Improvements • New Yard Piping • New Backup (Standby) Generator • Miscellaneous Rehabilitation & Improvements.
PCL Construction, Inc. is soliciting Certified DBE/MBE/WBE/SBE/SBRA/LSAF/HUB & OBE Subs & Suppliers to Bid: Oliver P. Roemer Water Filtration Facility Expansion Project (Design Build) for the West Valley Water District in Rialto, CA. PCL intends to break up the requirements into smaller portions to encourage maximum participation, arrange time frames for contracts and establish delivery schedules, where the requirements permit, in a way that encourages and facilitates participation of DBE’s. Payment & Performance Bonds may be required & bonding assistance is available. Subcontractors and Suppliers are encouraged to contact PCL for insurance requirements, equipment & materials, or if any other assistance is needed.
