We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:
Aggregate Supply, AREMA Type 5 Ballast, Asphalt Paving, Concrete Barriers, Curb, Gutter and V-Ditch, Furnish and Install Geosynthetics, Earthwork, Structure Excavation, Shoring for Excavation, Retaining Wall, Landscaping, Fencing, Erosion Control, Flatwork, Irrigation, Non Haz Soil Management, QC, QC Testing, Ready Mix Supply, Rebar Supply and Install, Install, Signage, Street Sweeping, Structural Concrete, Supply Track Materials, Survey, SWPPP, Traffic Control and Maintenance, Pavement Markings, Site Specific Safety Plan Compliance (SSSP), General Railway Signals, Trucking, Underdrains/Drainage, Dewatering, and Scheduling Service.
The Port of Long Beach has established utilization goals of 11% DBE for this contract.
Performance/Payment/Supply Bonds May Be Required
This advertisement is in response to The Port of Long Beach Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program. Herzog/Stacy and Witbeck, A Joint Venture intends to conduct itself in “Good Faith” with DBE firms regarding participation on this project. Herzog/Stacy and Witbeck, A Joint Venture will divide the work into smaller units to increase the opportunities for participation. Assistance is available in obtaining bonds, insurance, lines of credit, necessary equipment, supplies, materials, or related assistance or services.
DBE Eligibility and Certification: The Unified Certification Program (UCP) utilizes eligibility criteria established in 49CFR 26 and certifies firms as disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE).
Please return your scope letters by Close of Business on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
Submit quotes by close of business day on Friday, November 11, 2022, so that all bids can be reviewed and fairly evaluated.
