The project consists of Trackwork, Traction Power, and Signals & Communications with Work consisting of ballast and concrete ties; continuously welded rail; special trackwork; insulated joints, switches, switch heaters, and rail lubricators; traction power substations, substation foundations, grounding mats, grounding rods, and fencing; overhead catenary system and wires, bracket arms, and catenary poles; signal houses and interlocking houses; cable, conduits, troughs, junction boxes, and ductbanks; wayside signals and signals signage; closed circuit televisions, public address systems, passenger assist telephones, SCADA system; substation, signal house, and interlocking driveway paving; and any additional work necessary to complete the project.
