Scope / Description
We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:
Seeking All DBE Subcontractors/Suppliers needed for, including but not limited to: CONSTRUCTION AREA SIGNS, TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM/TRAFFIC FLAGGERS, PLANE ASPHALT CONCRETE, REMOVE BRIDGE ITEM, MODIFY BRIDGE ITEM, ROCK BLANKET, HYDROSEEDING, EROSION CONTROL, TEMPORARY EROSION CONTROL, PLACE ASPHALT CONCRETE DIKE & MISC, PORTLAND CEMENT & CONCRETE PAVEMENT, CLEAN & SEAL PAVEMENT JOINTS-ROUTE & SEAL CRACKS; GROOVE AND GRIND PAVEMENT; MINOR CONCRETE STRUCTURE; CONCRETE OVERLAY, DRILL & BOND; REINFORCING STEEL; ROADSIDE SIGNS; REINFORCED CONCRETE PIPE; CORRUGATED METAL PIPE (CSP); ROCK SLOPE PROTECTION; CONCRETE CURB & SIDEWALK-MISC.; SAWCUTTING; FENCING; OBJECT MARKER; METAL BEAM GUARD RAILING; CONCRETE BARRIER, CRASH CUSHION, THERMOPLASTIC TRAFFIC STRIPING & MARKINGS; PAINTED TRAFFIC STRIPING & MARKINGS; PAVEMENT MARKER; SIGNAL & LIGHTING; LAND SURVEYOR/LAND SURVEYING; ENVIRONMENTAL-BIOLOGICAL STUDIES, CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULING, LEAD COMPLIANCE; SWPPP PLANNING; WATER TRUCKS; STREET SWEEPING TRUCKS; DEMOLITION; OIL ASPHALT SUPPLIER/ASPHALT OIL TANKERS; AND RUMBLE STRIPS; or any item of work or material you are qualified to perform or furnish. NON-DBE SUBS/SUPPLIERS: You will be expected to carry a proportionate percentage of 2nd-tier DBE participation with your quote. Second-tier DBE participation will be evaluated with your price.
GEORGE REED, INC. is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, and Cement Masons Unions. A 100% Performance and Payment Bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. GEORGE REED, INC. will pay bond premiums up to 2%. Subcontractor must possess current insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting Owner’s and GRI’s insurance requirements. Insurance waiver of subrogation is also required. Please call if you need assistance with bonding, lines of credit, insurance, obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, materials, or any related services; or assistance with breaking down items into economically feasible units or establishing flexible time frames for performance and delivery schedules to encourage or facilitate your participation.
