General Contractors

You are cordially invited to submit a proposal as General Contactor. Serenity House Counseling Services, will receive sealed proposals for a 40x40 addition to existing residential facilities as single contract. Proposals will be received at the offices of Mark Buschbacher, Pres/CEO of Serenity House Counseling Services up to the hour of 3pm on June 30th, 2023. Sealed proposals will be publicly opened and read at the offices of Mark Buschbacher- Pres/CEO 891 S. Rohlwing Rd. Addison IL 60101 at 3:15 pm of June 30th. Women and Minority owned businesses are encouraged to submit bids on the project. Federal Labor Standards and Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to the project - 40x40 residential expansion. Drawings and specifications will be on file and may be examined at the office of Mark Buschbacher and may obtain refundable deposit of $25 per set for as many as 1 set. Each General Contractor shall deposit with his proposal a bond executed by the contractor an surety company, or a certified check, or cashiers check, payable to Serenity House Counseling Services-WERC addition. in the amount not less than five 5% of the total amount of the proposal. Successful contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond in the amount equal to 100% of the contract sum as security for the faithful performance of the contract and , a Labor and Mechanical payment bond in the amount of not less than 100% of the Contract Sum as security payment of all persons performing labor on the project under this contract and furnishings material connection with this Contract. A Pre-Bid conference will be conducted at 891 S. Rohlwing Rd. Addison IL 60101 for all General Contractors, upon request.at [email protected]. Serenity House reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive minor irregulations in any bid.
