Scope / Description

We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:

Asbestos Compliance Plan; Lead Compliance Plan; Aggregate Base; Bar Reinforcing Steel/Rebar; Bridge Removal; Clean & Paint Steel Soldier Piling; Clearing & Grubbing; Concrete Barrier; Construction Area Signs; Corrugated Steel Pipe; Demolition; Erosion Control; Fencing; Hazardous Waste Collection & Disposal; HMA Paving; Imported Borrow; Joint Seal; Landscaping; Maintaining Existing Traffic Management System Elements During Construction; Minor Concrete; Misc. Iron & Steel; Paint & Stain Concrete; Pile Driving; Drilling; Precast Concrete Exposed Aggregate Panel; Prestressing Concrete Cast-in-Place; SWPPP; Refinish Bridge Deck; Refinish Concrete Surface; Reinforced Concrete Pipe; Roadside Signs; Roadway Excavation; Slope Paving (Concrete & Stamped Concrete); Street Sweeping; Structural Concrete; Trucking; Temporary Concrete Barrier; Thermoplastic Traffic Striping & Marking; Traffic Control.
DMZ Builders is a union contractor. Please submit quotes by E-mail to [email protected] or fax to (925) 826-5766 no later than 11:00AM on bid day. Quotations must be valid for the same duration as specified by the Owner for contract award. Subcontractors must provide valid contractor’s license number and Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) registration number with their quote. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, worker’s compensation and insurance coverage during the entire length of the prime contract. Subcontractors will be required to execute DMZ Builders Standard Subcontract Terms and Conditions and meet specified insurance requirements, including Worker's Compensation Waiver of Subrogation. A copy of our Standard Subcontract Terms and Conditions, Purchase Order Agreement (for suppliers), and Professional Services Agreement are available for review in electronic format upon request. Subcontractor may be required to provide payment and performance bonds assuring bidder’s obligations to DMZ Builders in the amount of 100 percent of Subcontract value. DMZ Builders will reimburse Subcontractor for bond premium at actual cost, not to exceed 2.0%. For any assistance in obtaining bonding, lines of credit, insurance, equipment, supplies and materials, technical assistance, and/or any other coordination required for the project, please email [email protected]. DMZ will work with interested subcontractors, suppliers, service providers, and truckers to identify opportunities to break down items/work into economically feasible packages. DMZ Builders intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms seeking work on this project
