Scope / Description
We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:
Requesting Trades from: Landscaping, striping, signage, and more. Please view the plans for this project and submit your quotes to us at [email protected].
Contractor will provide asphalt paving services at three (3) Light and freight rail grade crossing locations. The light and freight rail grade crossing locations include (1) 34th Street and Stockton Blvd (two adjacent tracks – the paving work at this location includes the traffic island between the two streets as well as the two crossings), Sacramento, CA 95816; (2) Marketplace Lane (one freight track), Rancho Cordova, CA 95742; and (3) Mercantile Drive (one freight track), Rancho Cordova, CA 95742, as shown in Attachment 13.
No DBE goal has been established for this Contract. However, if subcontracting
opportunities exist for the work required for this Contract, Bidders/Proposers must ensure
that DBEs have the opportunity to participate in the performance of this Contract and must
take all necessary and reasonable steps to obtain DBE participation. Contractor must not
discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability or age in the award
and performance of subcontracts. Attachment 6 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise
(DBE) Program Contract Provisions sets out the requirements Contractor must meet if
any certified DBE firms perform on this Contract. To allow SacRT to track race-neutral
DBE participation for Contracts without a DBE goal, Bidders are expected to submit the
DBE Commitments Form (DBE Form 1a) for all solicitations without an established goal
and in which a DBE will be participating.
