Scope / Description
We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:
(Subcontractors): Scaffolding, Traffic Signal, Signage & Striping, Trucking, Electrical, Joint Seal, Reinforcing Seal, Tubular Handrailing, Concrete Barrier, Paint & Coating, Demolition, Lead & Asbestos Abatement, Asphalt Paving
(Suppliers): BMP Material, Ready Mix Concrete, Joint Seal, Misc. Metals, Misc Concrete Supplies, Dowels, Bearing Pads, Waterworks, Stainless Steel Pipe, Structural Steel
DBE Goal: 20%
Engineering Estimate: $2.7M
Project Scope:
The Work of this contract will generally consist of abatement of lead and asbestos containing materials
by a qualified abatement contractor; removal and replacement of concrete barriers and tubular hand railing; removal and replacement of concrete sidewalks and bridge deck; removal and replacement of street lighting; cleaning and painting the steel I-girders and other steel members; replacement of bearings; temporary installation of small cofferdam around 1 column of eastern bridge bent; removal and replacement of unsound concrete; removal and replacement of water mainline pipe; utility relocation; minor AC paving work; minor signing and striping work; and appurtenant work as required.
Assistance will be available in obtaining bonds, lines of credit, insurance, necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related technical assistance. For information on the availability of scope of work, plans and specifications, and requirements of the contract please contact our office.
