Scope / Description
We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:
FBD Vanguard Construction, Inc. is requesting quotes from all certified DBE firms for the following scopes of work, including but not limited to: Time-Related Overhead (Wday), Dispute Resolution Advisor On-Site Meeting, Hourly Off-Site Dispute Resolution- Advisor-Related Tasks, Construction Area Signs, Traffic Control System, Temporary Pedestrian Access Route, Portable Changeable Message Sign (Ls), Job Site Management, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan, Rain Event Action Plan, Storm Water Sampling And Analysis Day, Storm Water Annual Report, Temporary Drainage Inlet Protection, Street Sweeping, Temporary Concrete Washout, Roadway Excavation Subgrade Enhancement Geotextile, Class B1 Decomposed Granite, Class 2 Aggregate Base (Cy), Hot Mix Asphalt (Type A), Tack Coat, Remove Asphalt Concrete Pavement (Cy), Groove Existing Concrete Pavement, Grind Existing Concrete Pavement, Detectable Warning Surface, Remove Detectable Warning Surface, Minor Concrete (Curb And Gutter) (Rapid Strength Concrete), Minor Concrete (Driveway) (Rapid Strength Concrete), Minor Concrete (Sidewalk) (Rapid Strength Concrete), Remove Concrete Sidewalk (Sqyd), Remove Concrete Sidewalk And Driveway, Remove Concrete (Curb And Gutter), Adjust Access Box Frame And Cover (Utility), Adjust Manhole Frame And Cover (Utility), Paint Curb (2-Coat), Relocate Roadside Sign, Furnish Single Sheet Aluminum Sign (0.063"-Unframed), Maintaining Existing Traffic, Management System Elements During Construction, Modifying Signal And Lighting Systems, Modifying Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon Systems and Mobilization
A 100% payment bond and performance bond will be required. Vanguard will pay bond premium up to 2%. Please note that no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. Subcontractors must possess a current contractors license, insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting the owners requirements and will be required to sign the standard FBD Vanguard Construction, Inc. subcontract agreement.
