Notice is hereby given that Amador County General Services will receive sealed bids as follows:

FOR:
STATE ROUTE 88 / PINE GROVE CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
FEDERAL AID PROJECT NO.: 10-0G550/HIPL-5926(066)
COUNTY PROJECT NO.: 3000-5521
ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION COST: $7,670,000
The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment for the construction of roadway excavation, placing and compacting hot mix asphalt paving, concrete flatwork and curb & gutter, storm sewer, traffic signal, traffic handling, pavement delineation, in addition to other items or details not mentioned above, as required by the plans and specifications, shall be performed, placed, constructed or installed.
Bid information and all documents for the entire project are available for examination at the office of General Services Administration located at 12200-B Airport Road, Martell, CA.,95654 telephone (209) 223-6375 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday; or may be downloaded from Public Purchase site at www.publicpurchase.com/amadorco,ca. An $80.00 non-refundable deposit for each hard copy Bid Document set is required. Documents download from Public Purchase are available at no charge.
Sealed bids will be received by the County of Amador Purchasing Office; by U.S. Mail at 12200 B Airport Road, Jackson, CA 95642-9527; by U.P.S., Federal Express, or by other courier to 12200 B Airport Road, Martell, CA; 95654, until 1:30 PM, Thursday, November 30, 2023, at which time sealed Bids will be opened and read in the office of the Director of General Services Administration, located at the above Martell address. Bids received late, will be rejected and returned unopened. Telegraph, Facsimile (FAX) and E-Mail proposals will not be considered.
Each bid must be submitted on the proposal forms provided in the Invitation to Bid. The bid must be submitted in a sealed opaque envelope. The Bidder's name, return address, marked as bid, bid number, and bid opening date must appear on the outside of the envelope. Other bid formats will be rejected. Each bid must also be accompanied by a security in the form of a bid bond issued by a corporate surety, a certified check or cashier's check payable to the Treasurer of Amador County, or cash for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate sum of the bid.
