We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:
Project Description: The Early Works package comprises of construction of the Robert W. Goldsworthy Desalter Brewer Well Pipeline and improvements as well as Early Sitework for the Torrance Groundwater Desalter Expansion. Reconstruction of the Brewer Well, including new discharge piping, motor control center, VFD, and a new pipeline to divert the raw water to the Goldsworthy Desalter; construction of a 10-micron automatic self-cleaning filter assembly to filter raw water from the Brewer Well, Delthorne Park Well, and City Yard Well; construction of a gravity drain system to collect water from the Brewer Well discharge-to-waste line and the auto-strainer waste line to the existing Goldsworthy Desalter flush water lift station wet well. The early sitework generally consists of the demolition of existing utilities, retaining walls, vaults; and construction of push walls, foundations, PCC pavement, manhole structures, storm drains, concrete curb and gutters per plans, water valve box assembly with appurtenances, permanent barrier post, concrete thrust blocks; the installation of debris boxes, precast clarifier, submersible sump pump, grated drop inlets, gate valves, RCP and PVC pipes per plans; connection of valve trees to existing fire hydrant per plans, and all other incidental work in this specification document.
