Scope / Description
We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:
Seeking All DBE Subcontractors/Suppliers needed for, including but not limited to: CONSTRUCTION AREA SIGNS; TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM/TRAFFIC FLAGGERS, RESET, ADJUST ROADWAY ITEMS, PLANE ASPHALT CONCRETE, ROADWAY EXCAVATION, ROCK BLANKET, CONCRETE BLOCK & MASONRY RETAINING WALL, SOUND WALL (MASONRY BLOCK-CONCRETE), REINFORCING STEEL, ROADSIGN SIGN, ALTERNATIVE PIPE CULVERT, PLASTIC PIPE, CLAY SEWER PIPE, CONCRETE CURB & SIDEWALK – MISC. SAWCUTTING, FENCING, SURVEY OR HISTORICAL MONUMENT, THERMOPLASTIC TRAFFIC STRIPING & MARKING, PAINTED TRAFFIC STRIPING & MARKING, PAVEMENT MARKER, SIGNAL & LIGHTING, LIGHTING, LAND SURVEYOR/LAND SURVEYING, SWPPP PLANNING, WATER TRUCK, STREET SWEEPING TRUCK, DEMOLITION, OIL ASPHALT SUPPLIER/ASPHALT OIL TANKER; or any item of work or material you are qualified to perform or furnish. NON-DBE SUBS/SUPPLIERS: You will be expected to carry a proportionate percentage of 2nd-tier DBE participation with your quote. Second-tier DBE participation will be evaluated with your price.
GEORGE REED, INC. is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, and Cement Masons Unions. 100% Performance and Payment Bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. GEORGE REED, INC. will pay bond premium up to 2%. Subcontractor must possess current insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting Owner’s and GRI’s insurance requirements. Insurance waiver of subrogation is also required. Please call if you need assistance with: bonding, lines of credit, insurance, obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, materials, or any related services; or assistance with breaking down items into economically feasible units or establishing flexible time frames for performance and delivery schedules to encourage or facilitate participation.
