Scope / Description
We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:
Seeking All DBE and Section 3 Subcontractors/Suppliers needed for, including but not limited to: CLEARING & GRUBBING; SEAL COAT; SAWCUTTING; TRUCKING; and STREET SWEEPING TRUCK; or any item of work or material you are qualified to perform or furnish. NON-DBE SUBS/SUPPLIERS: You will be expected to carry a proportionate percentage of 2nd-tier DBE participation with your quote. Second-tier DBE participation will be evaluated with your price.
GEORGE REED, INC. is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, and Cement Masons Unions. 100% Performance and Payment Bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. GEORGE REED, INC. will pay bond premiums up to 2%. The subcontractor must possess current insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting Owner’s and GRI’s insurance requirements. Insurance waiver of subrogation is also required. Please call if you need assistance with: bonding, lines of credit, insurance, obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, materials, or any related services; or assistance with breaking down items into economically feasible units or establishing flexible time frames for performance and delivery schedules to encourage or facilitate participation.
