Scope / Description
We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:
Hazardous Abatement, Electrical, Low Voltage
Bid and Contract Documents. The Bid and Contract Documents are available at
the location stated above during standard working hours (8:00AM-4:30PM) for a non-
refundable fee per set. Check or credit card transaction are to be made payable to ARC
Document Solutions San Francisco. Bidder responsible for all shipping and handling fees.
Plans are available for viewing at www.e-arc.com/location/san-francisco-hooper-street.. Select the “Quick Links” tab, then choose the “Public Planroom” option and search for project name and number.
Bid Documents
Bid documents can be viewed at or obtained from:
Contractor’s License Required for the Work: Class B, General Contractor with Asbestos and Lead
Certification or Sub-Contractor with Asbestos and Lead Certification performing the work OR, C-
10 Electrical Contractor or Sub-contractor with Asbestos and Lead Certification performing the
work; in addition, Data cabling, fiber, and low-voltage system work must be performed by C-7
licensed contractor. Conduit and electrical work to be performed by C-10 licensed contractor. Any
Bidder not so duly and properly licensed shall be subject to all penalties imposed by law.
The Project is generally described as including but not limited to: Public Address System Upgrades
including associated cabling, integrated clock-bell devices, wall speakers, exterior speakers and head-end
equipment, to upgrade and expand the existing Public Address system coverage and installation of a remote
door device, new central exchange unit and client station at Raoul Wallenberg High School.
