Scope / Description

We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:

Traffic Control

Storage

Material Supplier

Subcontractor: For the purpose of this program, the term "Subcontractor" denotes an

agreement between the prime Contractor and an individual, firm or corporation for the

performance of a particular portion(s) of the work for which the prime Contractor has

obligated itself. Subcontractors must have a valid California Contractor's License or

Professional License. For purposes of meeting the LBE requirement, other work including

but not limited to trucking, equipment rentals, or any service rendered by local firms for the

project shall also be included.

OBTAINING OR INSPECTING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Printed copies of the plans

are available at the City of Merced at 678 W. 18th Street Merced, CA 95340. Digital copies

of the plans and specifications may be obtained from the City of Merced Engineering

Department by sending an email to Alivia Alfaro ([email protected]). Fee for digital

or hard copy is $60.00. Bids must be filed with the Purchasing Agent, at 2525 “O” Street,

Merced, California 95340, not later than 2:00 PM on July 18, 2024 prevailing local time, at

which time the bids will be publicly opened, read, and recorded.
