The City of Fresno (City) Capital Projects Department is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified Engineering firms to provide on-call Geotechnical Engineering Services. Funding for these services will be through multiple sources including federal funding.
The City of Fresno hereby notifies all consultants that the City has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Goal for these services. This contract has a DBE goal of TWENTY-TWO PERCENT (22%).
The Capital Projects Department (CPD) is tasked with overseeing major capital projects funded by more than $1 billion in grants awarded to the City of Fresno. CPD serves City departments such as Public Works, Public Utilities, Police, Fire, and PARCS to deliver the departments’ capital programs. CPD is actively managing hundreds of capital projects through the design, environmental, right-of-way, and construction phases for parks, public safety facilities, street infrastructure, active transportation, wastewater, and water systems.
