For DBE assistance & general questions contact Andrea Chavez via email at andreachavez@pcl.com or by phone 480-763-2743. Project description: The electrical package includes but is not limited to: Disconnect conduit and conductors from existing bar screen and reconnect to new bar screens. Provide and/or relocate associated control panels, junction boxes, and conduit & conductor extensions as required. Provide connection from new sluice pumps to existing sluice pump disconnect switches. Replace lighting panels as shown on drawings. Disconnect existing conduit and wire from existing motorized door operator and reconnect to new motorized door operator. The early procurement package includes the purchase of Variable Frequency Motor Controllers, Control System Equipment Panels and Racks, Level Measurement Equipment, Pressure Strain and Force Measurement Equipment, Severe Duty Recessed Impeller Pumps, and Flexible Rake Bar Screens.

PCL intends to break up the requirements into smaller portions to encourage maximum participation, arrange time frames for contracts & establish delivery schedules, where the requirements permit, in a way that encourages & facilitates participation of DBE’s. Payment & Performance Bonds may be required & bonding assistance is available. Subs and Suppliers are encouraged to contact PCL for insurance requirements, equipment & materials, plans & specs or if any other assistance is needed. 

WIFIA Federal funding requirements apply and include but are not limited to; DBE - EPA 40 CFR Part 33, Davis Bacon General Decision Number CO20240002, AIS, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Affirmative Action & Fair Share Objectives. Bidder’s attention is called to the WIFIA requirements included in the plan roomThe contract includes Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements and goals. Certified DBEs are encouraged to bid.
