Scope / Description
We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:
Seeking All DBE Subcontractors/Suppliers needed for, including but not limited to: CONSTRUCTION AREA SIGNS, TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM/TRAFIC FLAGGERS, TEMPORARY RAILING (TYPE K), PLANE ASPHALT CONCRETE, HYDROSEEDING, PAVING ASPHALT (ASPHALT CONCRETE), PAVEMENT REINFORCING FABRIC, PLACE ASPHALT CONCRETE DIKE & MISC., ROADSIDE SIGN, REINFORCED CONCRETE PIPE, CONCRETE CURB & SIDEWALK-MISC., SAWCUTTING, FENCING, OBJECT MARKER, THERMOPLASTIC TRAFFIC STRIPING & MARKING, PAVEMENT MARKER, SIGNAL & LIGHTING, LAND SURVEYOR/LAND SURVEYING, LEAD COMPLIANCE, SWPPP PLANNING, TRUCKING, STREET SWEEPING TRUCK, HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE REMOVAL, OIL ASPHALT SUPPLIER / ASPHALT OIL TANKERS, LOCATING ANF MAPPING UG UTILITIES; or any item of work or material you are qualified to perform or furnish. NON-DBE SUBS/SUPPLIERS: You will be expected to carry a proportionate percentage of 2nd-tier DBE participation with your quote. Second-tier DBE participation will be evaluated with your price.
GEORGE REED, INC. is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, and Cement Masons Unions. 100% Performance and Payment Bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. GEORGE REED, INC. will pay bond premiums of up to 2%. The subcontractor must possess current insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting Owner’s and GRI’s insurance requirements. Insurance waiver of subrogation is also required. Please call if you need assistance with bonding, lines of credit, insurance, obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, materials, or any related services; or assistance with breaking down items into economically feasible units or establishing flexible time frames for performance and delivery schedules to encourage or facilitate your participation.
