Scope / Description
We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:
Seeking All DBE Subcontractors/Suppliers needed for, including but not limited to: Construction Area Signs, Traffic Control System/Traffic Flaggers, Plane Asphalt Concrete, Clearing & Grubbing, Roadway Excavation, Erosion Control, Temporary Erosion Control, Asphalt Concrete, Paving Asphalt (Asphalt Concrete), Minor Concrete Structure, Roadside Sign, Plastic Pipe, Concrete Curb & Sidewalk-Misc., SAWCUTTING, Fencing, Thermoplastic Traffic Striping & Marking, Painted Traffic Striping & Marking, Pavement Marker, SWPPP Planning, Trucking, Water Truck, Street Sweeping Truck, Demolition ,Oil Asphalt Supplier/Asphalt Oil Tankers, ; or any item of work or material you are qualified to perform or furnish. NON-DBE SUBS/SUPPLIERS: You will be expected to carry a proportionate percentage of 2nd-tier DBE participation with your quote. Second-tier DBE participation will be evaluated with your price.
GEORGE REED, INC. is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, and Cement Masons Unions. 100% Performance and Payment Bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. GEORGE REED, INC. will pay bond premiums up to 2%. The subcontractor must possess current insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting Owner’s and GRI’s insurance requirements. Insurance waiver of subrogation is also required. Please call if you need assistance with: bonding, lines of credit, insurance, obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, materials, or any related services; or assistance with breaking down items into economically feasible units or establishing flexible time frames for performance and delivery schedules to encourage or facilitate participation.
