An Equal Opportunity Employer is requesting quotations from all qualified DBE sub-contractors and/or material suppliers for the following project:

Scope / Description

We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:

The Project scope of work proposes to:

• Strengthen and repair structural steel members in the girder spans;

• Replace all bearings on the girder spans and select bearings on the truss spans;

• Replace existing bridge deck and joints;

• Replace existing parapet and fence with MASH compliant 3-rail steel barrier and stainless-steel mesh fence;

• Replace concrete approach slabs;

• Repair concrete substructures;

• Drainage system upgrades;

• Install new light standards and support framing;

• Replace overhead sign structures; and

• Full blast cleaning and repainting of the existing structure.

In addition to the bridge, portions of the Huntington Street on-ramp in New London and the Exit 85 off-ramp in Groton will be reconstructed.

This contract is subject to a 7% DBE participation requirement.
