Scope / Description
We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:
Temporary Tree and Plant Protection, Selective Site Demolition, Cast-in-Place Concrete, Metal Fabrications, Landscape Wood Structures, Steel Coatings, Signage, Playground Equipment, Exterior Concrete Countertops, Plumbing, Earthwork, Asphalt Paving, Pavement Marking Paint, Concrete Paving, Pavement Marking Paint, Brick Paving, Aggregate Surfacing, Parking Bumpers, Pavement Markings, Detectable Surface Tiles, Synthetic Turf Field, Playground Surfacing, Synthetic Running Track Surfacing, Chain Link Fencing, Ornamental Steel Fencing, Site Furnishings, Planting Irrigation, Plants and Planting Area Preparation, Planting Accessories, Landscape Stone, Rainwater Harvesting Systems, Storm Drainage Utilities, Bioretention, Hazmat Abatement
The Project is generally described as including, but not limited to: Schoolyard site improvement work including, but not limited to, regrading and resurfacing of the existing upper yard and kindergarten yard to include new drainage and stormwater retention, new seating and landscaping, miscellaneous gutter work, sport courts & track restriping, perimeter fencing upgrades, entry stair and ramp at Irving Street, installation of new playground equipment & matting, new pre-check (PC) approved shade structure, and miscellaneous improvements at main entrance and main office. Includes hazardous material/asbestos/lead remediation.
CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE REQUIRED FOR THE WORK: Class B - General Contractor with Asbestos and Lead Certification or Sub-Contractor with Asbestos and Lead Certification performing the work. Any Bidder not so duly and properly licensed shall be subject to all penalties imposed by law.
PROJECT LABOR AGREEMENT: All Bidders are hereby notified that the District has a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) in effect on the Project and all contractors and subcontractors bidding this project will be required to comply with the PLA.
PRE-QUALIFICATION: All Bidders are hereby notified that this Project is subject to the District’s Pre-Qualification Procedure. All General Contractors must submit a prequalification package a minimum of ten (10) business days prior to bid date in order to bid on this project. No bids will be received or opened from Bidders who have not been pre-qualified through the District’s Pre-Qualification Procedure. Prime Contractors shall prequalify through PQ Bids at: https://go.pqbids.com/enroll-us
