Qualified contractors licensed to operate in Virginia are invited to express their interest in the MSLL Church Adoptive Rehabilitation Project, initiated by the Mahdere-Sebehat Ledeta Lemariam Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. 

Interested firms must have successfully completed at least two projects of comparable size and complexity, each valued at a minimum of USD 800,000. To express interest and request the bidding documents, please email [email protected] with a copy of your valid Virginia business license attached.

This project is situated at 6318 Grovedale Dr. Alexandria VA 22310. The site is zoned Neighborhood
Commercial retail (C5). The project entails interior renovation of an existing building with some exterior
work. The existing building is a single-story level space. The space is designed to accommodate lobby
space, Two ADA bathrooms, two additional toilets, Electrical room, Audio visual room, congregation space,
stage, altar space with communion prep space and priest uniform changing room. The roof will be raised by 5' to gain more head room for the intended use. This involves an extension of the wall with framed wall.
Attic space with access stair for mechanical unit to be provided. Window and door will be replaced or added based on the functional and code requirement. Exterior ADA ramp will be added to access the stage. pavement at entrance will be rebuilt. Electrical, Plumbing and mechanical requirement will be provided per the applicable code.
