We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:
Construction Area Signs, Traffic Control, Temporary K-Rail, Mobile Barrier System, Erosion Control, SWPPP, Trucking, Street Sweeping, Landscaping, Irrigation, AC Paving, Pavement Marking & Striping, Concrete Coring, Horizontal Directional Drilling, Trenching, Furnish and Install Underground Conduit, Furnish and Install Precast Vaults, Furnish and Install Fiber Optic Cabling, Furnish and Install CCTV and TMS Equipment, Miscellaneous Metal, Construction Supplies and Equipment Rental.

Plans and specifications are available to interested firms at no cost via the Caltrans website using Project ID # 04-155004 or can be viewed at DMZ Builders Concord, CA office by contacting the office to make an appointment.  

Please submit quotes by e-mail to [email protected] or fax to (925) 826-5766 no later than 1:00 PM on bid day. Quotes must be valid, at a minimum, for the same duration as specified by the Owner for contract award.  DMZ Builders is a union contractor. Subcontractors must provide their active CSLB license number and DIR registration number with their quote. Subcontractors will be required to execute DMZ Builders standard subcontract terms and conditions, available for review upon request, and meet insurance requirements, including waiver of subrogation. Subcontractors, at DMZ’s discretion, may be required to provide payment and performance bonds for 100% of the subcontract value. DMZ will reimburse bond premium at actual cost, not to exceed 2.0%. The project requires paying prevailing wages andsubmitting certified payrolls.
