We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:

Stormwater Pollution Control Plan, Traffic Control Plan, Tree Root Control Barrier, Aggregate Base Class 2, Type “A” Asphalt Concrete, Remove & Replace PCC Curb & Gutter, Remove & Replace PCC Sidewalk or PCC Sidewalk Ramp, Detectable Warning Surface, Adjust Utility Box to Grade, Type B DI Hood Replacement, PCC Driveway Conform (Contingency), DI Relocation (Contingency) and all material suppliers.

Items of work may be broken down into economically feasible packages to encourage participation.  A 100% payment bond and performance bond will be required. Vanguard will pay bond premium up to 2%. Please note that no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting the owners requirements and will be required to sign the standard FBD Vanguard Construction, Inc. subcontract agreement.
