The project includes removal of existing restroom facilities and serveral concrete pads throughout the park, a new restroom facility, a new trail route and sidewalks, parking improvements, new trash receptacles and other improvements. An additional restroom facility is included as Alternate 1. There are two more alternates included which reduce the scope of the base bid. 

This project is funded through a grant for the implementation of the Coastal Management Program (CMP) Project of Special Merit, as approved by the Texas Land Commissioner and administered by the Texas General Land Office (GLO). For further details, please refer to the contract specifications.
