We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:

FBD Vanguard Construction, Inc. is requesting quotes from all San Leandro Local Businesses and suppliers for the following items of work including but not limited

to, Mobilization (Max 10% of total base bid), Traffic Control / Pedestrian Control, Water Pollution Control Work, Clearing, Grubbing, and Tree Protection, Conform Landscaping, Remove Asphalt Flatwork, Grind Asphalt Flatwork, Remove Concrete Flatwork, Remove Sign and Post, Remove Bike Corral, Remove Bollard, Remove and Install Trash Receptacle, Remove and Install Recycling Receptacle, Remove and Install Dog Bay Dispenser, Remove and Install Roadside Sign, Remove and Install Irrigation Box, Concrete Sidewalk, Concrete Island, Concrete Curb, Hot Mix Asphalt (4-inch), Class 2 Aggregate Base (6-inch), Speed Hump, Handrails, Bollards, Wheel Stops (3-feet and 6-feet), Bike Rack, Truncated Domes, Asphalt Resurfacing/Coat – Overkote, White Crosswalk Striping, White Parking Striping, Blue Parking Striping, Emergency Vehicle Striping, Roadside Sign, Custom Roadside Sign, 2nd Coat of Asphalt Sealant – Overkote and all Material suppliers.

Items of work may be broken down into economically feasible packages to encourage

participation. A 100% payment bond and performance bond will be required.

Vanguard will pay bond premium up to 2%. If you have any questions, need assistance in

that no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public

works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the

Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited

exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section

1771.1(a)]. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and

workers compensation coverage meeting the owners requirements and will be required

to sign the standard FBD Vanguard Construction, Inc. subcontract agreement.
