Project Description:

New concrete accessible path from the Greek Theater ticket booth to Stern Hall, replacement of two concrete landings adjacent to Foothill Dining, lighting from Gayley Road to Stern Hall, landscaping, and painted railings. Provide logistics plan including fenced in work area, staging area, and construction access at Stern Hall driveway only. Existing accessible route from Gayley Road to Greek Theater ticket booth to remain open at all times and may not be used for construction access.

For the scope of work to replace two concrete landings adjacent to Foothill Dining, the University requests the Contractor to prioritize and finish this work as soon as possible after receiving the Notice to Proceed. This will minimize access disruptions to Foothill Dining during the University’s summer sessions.

a. This scope is shown on drawings 1/2-A2.20, 1/2-A2.30, 1&3/2-A2.40, 2-CD-102, 2-CS-102.

b. The University’s goal is to start the demo work at landings #5 and #7, shown on drawing 2-CD-102, by 5/18/2026 and finish demo no later than 5/29/2026.

c. The University’s goal for the new concrete and drain scope at these locations, shown on 1/2-A2.20, 1/2-A2.30, 1&3/2-A2.40, and 2-CS-102, is to be completed no later than 6/17/2026 for the University’s and Architect’s review. By 6/19/2026, any cleanup of the area should be finished, fencing removed, and the Contractor demobilized from this portion of the site.
