Description

Construction of 16,000 LF of channel improvements ( consisting of 2,500 LF of RCB culverts, 8,700 LF of concrete lined trapezoidal channels, 3,200 LF of rectangular concrete channels, and 1,600 LF of concrete channel transition structures). The RCB culverts have 3 to 6 cells with cell widths between 19' and 20' and heights between 8' and 1 7'. The work includes construction of 2 upstream inlets and 1 downstream outlet, which with concrete headwalls, wingwalls, aprons, buried side slope and scour protection. It also includes reconstruction and restoration of irrigation, landscaping, walkways, fencing, and other existing facilities. Also included in the project is the crossing of six existing public streets including Jefferson Ave, Ave 40, Ave 39, Ave 38 and Adams St (2 locations). Work at these crossings will include construction of reinforced concrete box culverts, utility relocations, and street reconstruction. A traffic signal relocation is required for the crossing at Adams St south of Ave 39. Project duration is 23 months. Questions due by 2:00 PM on May 14th. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply. DBE Goals apply.
