Description
The Rinconada Water Treatment Plant Residuals Remediation Project includes, but is not limited to, the following work: 1. Sludge Thickener Structure Modifications and Improvements; 2. Sludge Transfer System Modifications; 3. Sludge Storage Tank (Alternative bid item for second tank); 4. Centrate Wetwell B; 5. Centrifuge Feed Pumps; 6. Belt Press Building (Centrifuge Building B) Modifications including:
a. Demolition and Structural Improvements b. Centrifuge Installation c. Conveyor Installation d. Polymer System Installation e. MCC-R Replacement f. Architectural, Electrical, and HVAC Modifications 7. Demolition of Wash Water Recycle Basin, and its return pumps system. 8. Site work that includes shoring, potholing, dewatering, installing new utilities, relocating and/or modifying existing utilities, constructing storm water improvements, installing new electrical switchyard and duct banks,
install new reinforced concrete slabs-on-grade, asphalt concrete pavement removal and replacement, sidewalk removal and replacement; irrigation system removal and replacement, sidewalk removal and replacement; irrigation system removal and replacement, signage, environmental mitigation, and associated work. 9. Installation of control systems for new sludge storage tanks, centrate wetwell, centrifuge feed pumps, Centrifuge Building B, centrifuges, sludge thickener; includes programming and interfaces with the Plant SCADA system, and camera system additions and modifications. 10. Installation of new electrical and instrumentation conduits, conductors including modifications, and tie-ins with the Control Building and across
the site to serve the new facilities. 11. Temporary piping, controls, electrical power, and appurtenance systems to allow for the required sequencing of construction to maintain solids dewatering and plant operation. 12. Removal and disposal of residual polymer from tanks, totes, piping and pumping systems in and adjoining the Belt Press Building. 13. Testing, quality control, training of staff, provision of operations and maintenance documentation, and trial system operation. 14. Mobilization, demobilization, scheduling, sequencing, and execution to meet Project restrictions and other work described in the Contract Documents. Prevailing wages. Bonds required. SBE goals.
