Stevens Street Alley Storm Drain Improvements, El Paso, TX

Base Bid 1: The work is in the alley that is between Lincoln Avenue to the south and Johnson Avenue to the north. The work items include but are not limited to mobilization and demobilization; excavation, backfill and compaction; 2-sack flowable fill, asphalt and concrete testing; traffic control; disposal of debris; new asphalt paving; one (1) 6-foot diameter storm sewer manhole, one (1) standard 4-grate type II drop inlet, 50 linear feet 36-inch and 120 linear feet of 48-inch diameter Class V storm sewer pipe with end pieces, concrete collars and grouting; removal of abandoned gas line, removal and replacement of curb & gutter, sidewalk and alley apron as needed on North Stevens Street; new curb and gutter and header curb in the alley, protection of existing overhead and buried utilities; protection CMU wall in alley, demolition of the rock wall and headwall in the alley, removal of existing abandoned gas line; temporary construction fencing for security; coordination with city departments, other utility companies, EPWater and the Engineer. A final signed and sealed survey by a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Texas shall be provided documenting all improvements not limited to waterline, stormwater line, manholes, inlets, curb and gutter, and header curb documenting the installation of all improvements. Base Bid 2: The Water work consists of the installation of approximately 160 LF of 6-Inch Ductile Iron Pipe, fittings, valves, water services replacement, and all necessary appurtenances for the completed main or structure.
