Description
This design build project will provide family and graduate student housing at the University of Utah on an 11.8-acre site known as the West Village. The New Construction project will deliver 298 family apartments (1, 2, and 3 bedroom) totaling approximately 295,000 sq ft and 256 graduate student apartments (studio, 1, 2, and 3 bedroom) totaling approximately 147,000 sq ft, including community amenities (shared kitchens, vending, laundry, storage, study, etc.), gathering space (both indoor community rooms and outdoor courtyards), and surface parking. Site utilities and connections must also be included as part of this project. Stakeholders include the University of Utah, (Auxiliary Services, University Student Apartments, Facilities Management), DFCM, current residents in University Student Apartments, the Graduate School, potential donors, and neighboring communities. Bonds required.
