Subcontractor Lead / VBS Construction - UVU Institutional Advancement Center, Orem, UT

The Alumni and Advancement Center will be the new home for alumni events and the Institutional Advancement Department. Institutional Advancement consists of 6 Departments: Vice President’s Office, Major Gifts and Development, Alumni Relations, Executive Events, Marketing and Communications, Central Advancement. The project site is located on the North edge of UVU’s main campus, on the North side of 800 South, between an existing parking lot and the Center for Autism. Demolition and New Construction. Two existing residential structures will be demolished prior to new construction as part of this scope of work. The new steel-framed/brick veneer building includes three major building components: A two-story office building (approx. 24,000 sf) for the Institutional Advancement Program. A new one-story Event Center (6,400 sf) A double height lobby space connecting the two components. New site development around the building features a South plaza and North plaza in addition to a small loading area. Additionaly a stand alone storage structure is to be provided. Bonds required.
