Road Work - Crosswalk Enhancements TST. Charleston County, SC

To improve pedestrian access at signalized intersections throughout the region; 10 candidate intersections are provided where pedestrian accommodations can be improved by adding crosswalks and pedestrian signals. Only 5 of the 10 intersections have been identified for construction in this bid package. The 5 intersections are as follows; 1) Spruill Avenue and Buist 2) Dorchester Road and W Hill 3) Rivers and McMillan *construct this intersection first 4) Carner and Burton Lane 5) Folly and Fort Johnson Road. The work will include, but not be limited to; concrete sidewalks, pavement striping, conduit installation, pedestrian signal heads, pedestal poles, pedestrian ramps, and sediment and erosion control. Substantial completion of this Project shall be achieved within ninety (90) Calendar Days from the date of issuance of the Notice to Proceed, and achieve final completion within thirty (30) calendar days after the Substantial Completion date.
