Description
The work under this contract shall be for furnishing all labor, materials, transportation, and services for the construction and installation of the following work: This project includes demolition of the existing ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system and furnishing and installing a new UV system at the John T. Hickerson Water Reclamation Facility. The existing system has equipment in five (5) channels which will all be removed as part of this project. The new system will consist
of three (3) channels of new UV disinfection equipment with a treatment capacity of 35 MGD, new flow conditioners and new level control gates, all to be furnished and installed under this project. New electrical cabling, conduit and appurtenances are also part of the project to provide a complete and in-place UV disinfection system. Integration of the new equipment with the existing Plant SCAD ystem will be
required for this project. MWBE goals. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
