Northbound State Route 241 Channelizers Project, Various Area, CA

This Request for Proposals (“RFP”, is issued by the Foothill/Eastern Transportation Corridor Agency (“Agency”) to engage the services of a firm to provide construction services to install channelizers, roadside signs, and pavement delineation (referred to herein as Scope A), and inspection and replacement services for the newly installed channelizers (referred to herein as Scope B) as summarized below and as more specifically described in Exhibit A to the Form of Contract. Scope A: Installation Scope A includes installation of new channelizers, striping and pavement markings, relocation of sign panels, installation of new sign panels and sign posts, removals of existing striping and sign panels, locating existing utilities, installation of temporary fencing and temporary water pollution control measures, and temporary traffic control to perform work. Scope B: Channelizers Inspection Surveys and Replacements Scope B includes tasks after installation of the channelizers is completed including inspection surveys to assess the condition of the channelizers installed under Scope A, determining if replacement activities are needed, and installing replacements of the channelizers and appurtenances when needed, including associated temporary traffic control.
