Description
Located in the City of Philadelphia, this project will create a quarter mile long shared-use path linking residential neighborhoods in Southwest Philadelphia with John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge. This shared-use path will serve as a link in both The Circuit shared use path network and in the 3000 mile-long East Coast Greenway (ECG). Improvements were made to the pedestrian crossing of 84th Street at the existing intersection with Lindbergh Boulevard. Additionally, 300 linear feet of 12’ wide shared-use path was created from Lindbergh Boulevard to Chelwynde Avenue. The location is State Route 0000, Section CCD, Lindberg Blvd. in Philadelphia Co., Philadelphia from approximately 86th Street (segment N/A offset N/A) to approximately SR 3002, 84TH Street (segment 0011 offset 0850).
