Description
The work shall consist of pavement cutting, excavation, furnishing and installing ductile iron pipe, fittings, valves, hydrant assemblies, excavation and installation of water services, accessories, and appurtenances, connections to existing water mains, back filling with approved compacted granular fill, pavement restoration, rock excavation and backfill, traffic persons, maintenance and protection of traffic, Class "C" concrete, replacing existing sanitary sewer laterals where required, cast iron mains, CT DOT encroachment permit and maintenance and protection of traffic, application of loam and seed, miscellaneous work and cleanup, and all other work required for the water mains.
