Description
The project consists of the removal of existing walls, acoustical panels ceilings, flooring, lights and diffusers in two areas of the ground floor. Convert these spaces into high-quality recording studio spaces comprising multiple control rooms sharing central recording spaces. Each of the central spaces incorporate isolation booths including a larger recording area. The intent is for each space to be acoustically isolated from all other spaces and from surrounding spaces in Wood Hall (e.g. hallway, upper floors, neighboring rooms). Wall/ceiling/door construction to provide 60+ dB of isolation from surrounding spaces in the frequency range of 30Hz – 20kHz. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
