Description
The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to establish a contract, by means of sealed Bids, from qualified contractor(s) for the construction of approximately 3.2 miles of a 12 foot wide asphalt trail along the C-103 canal from southwest 137th Avenue to east Mowry Street in the City of Homestead. All pedestrian facilities shall adhere to current ADA standards. The project constitutes a public construction work to be competitively awarded pursuant to Section 255.20, Florida Statutes. The successful bidder must be FDOT Pre-Qualified. This project is funded by Financial Project #439899-1-54-01/CSFA# 55.038 – Florida Shared-Use Nonmotorized (SUN) Trail Network Program ("Grant Agreement") and bidders shall comply with all applicable requirements.
