Hunter’s Ridge Stormwater Management Pond Upgrade, Newark, DE

Upgrading of the existing Hunter’s Ridge subdivision Stormwater Management Pond with portions located in HOA public open space and County owned access easements. Work will include but not be limited to: clearing & grubbing, removal of trees, installation of a j-hook and bank stabilization, replacing the existing discharge with 24” reinforced concrete pipe, abandoning and filling 12” pipe from farm pond, flared end sections, riprap, grading of the pond side slopes, backfilling and compaction of embankment, planting of trees and shrubs, installation of erosion and sediment controls in accordance with the contract specifications and drawings. The work is located in the Hunter’s ridge subdivision along Haystack Road in Newark, Delaware. New Castle County will only accept bids from contractors prequalified with the County in the category “B,” Site Work.
