Description

The Scope of Work for this project is for the construction of a multi-story parking garage known as Parking Garage The objective is to construct a Garage facility (approximately 450 spaces) that can operate in a code-compliant, safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner within an aesthetically pleasing environment. The ground floor of the building will house the Parking, Human Resources, and Labor Relations Departments of the City, back-of-house facilities, including approximately 7,200 square feet of future retail space. The remaining floors will be allocated for parking. The scope also includes all the required and associated on-site and off-site improvements. The site for the new building is on Minorca Avenue between Salzedo Street and Ponce de Leon Blvd., adjacent to the recently completed City of Coral Gables Public Safety Building, The project includes, but is not limited to furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, services, permits, and incidentals necessary to construct Parking Garage 7, including all associated site elements, right of way and alley improvements. The design shall comply with the Contract Documents prepared by the architectural firm of Ferguson, Glasgow, Shuster, Soto, Inc., made part of this solicitation.
