Annual Door Maintenance and Repairs, Alachua County, FL

Alachua County is requesting bids from qualified contractors to provide same day service if required, scheduled service, emergency after hour service, and preventative maintenance various door systems for all Alachua County buildings throughout Alachua County including but not limited: Rollup Doors. Glass Store Fronts. Interior Solid Core Wood Doors. Exterior Metal Doors. Sectional Doors. Automated Gates. All Associated Hardware - All Door/Gate Types. This will include but not limited to Alachua County Jail, Alachua County Sheriff’s offices, Civil and Criminal Courthouses. These buildings will require an extended background check of employees performing the work. Other related systems will include: Light curtains, electric safety edges, electric brakes, photo eyes, and all components and control boards required for proper operation. Bonds Required. Prevailing Wages. 1.4 Response time for emergency repairs shall be no more than one hour. 1.5 Any work needing a subcontractor for the above-mentioned items will need to be known and proper background checks administered.
