Description
Okaloosa County on behalf of its Airports Department seeks a contractor to provide a metal roof coating replacement to DTS Airport Block 8 Hangar on the approximately 15,600 square foot (SF) metal roof. The contractor shall repair the roof system by removing the entire existing roof coating and replace with a new silicone coating. Repair or replace the following items as needed; fasteners, screws, decking, and roof cap. Curbs, soffit, fascia, ladders and vents are included in roof system, along with the approximately 15,600 SF of metal roof. Coat the entire roof with a new high solids silicone roof coating. Provide minimum contractor workmanship warranty of two (2) years and a manufacturer's labor and material warranty of ten (10) years.
Roof to be inspected and accepted by Airport personnel and proper code compliance officers. Contractor shall provide all required permits and licenses prior to work commencement. Bonds Required. Prevailing Wages.
