Description
This project replaces one existing Archimedes Screw Pump fabricated from carbon steel with a new Archimedes Screw Pump fabricated from stainless steel. The nominal outside diameter of the flights will be 108- inches. The work includes the replacement of existing equipment such as the gearbox, gearbox motor, bearings, couplings, and electrical and control components of the pump. Grout in the inclined channel will be replaced and recoating with polyurethane. Installation of a sunscreen for electrical panels and replacing parts of the concrete gearbox foundation and the entire concrete foundation for the lower bearing will also be required.Project located at Plant No. 1 at 10844 Ellis Avenue, Fountain Valley, CA 92708. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
