Description

For purposes of this Contract, Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, supervision, and incidentals necessary to perform the following scope of work for the Elevated Station Emergency Power: Removal and replacement of existing emergency lights with new LED lights and installing new 3KVA uninterruptable power systems (UPS) with a minimum runtime of 90 minutes. The UPS must be installed in the electrical room on the elevated platform of the Guadalupe line. The Work comprises base work and an “Option”, as further defined herin. The base work include stations Virginia, Tamien, Curtner, Capitol. Option 1 include stations Branham, Blossom Hill, Snell and Cottle. VTA may exercise the option as described in Section 6.4 .The Work will be conducted within an operating rail yard and adjacent to and within existing shop facilities. This Work will be subject to restrictions to ensure safety and the continuing operations of the yard and shop and the light rail system. Q&A due by 06/15/21 at 2PM. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
