Description

The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as “VDOT”) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide various types of equipment with experienced drivers/operators to perform Emergency Snow and Ice Removal operations on Interstate I-66 in Fauquier County located within the VDOT Culpeper District, in accordance with specifications contained herein on an as needed basis. The successful contractor(s) shall furnish services upon request by the Virginia Department of Transportation Culpeper District snow and ice removal services for Interstate 66 MM 14.7 (Fauquier / Warren County Line) to MM 36.68 at the Fauquier / Prince William County Line to include all ramps at Exits 18, 23, 27, 28 and 31 within Fauquier County. 22.48 Miles. Period of Contract: From 8/1/2021 through April 30, 2022, with four (4) one year optional renewal terms. Q&A due by 3pm, 6/2/21. SBE documentation required.
